It never ceases to amaze me how many people pass by such wondrous and unique moments. It may be a plant, a creature, a view, or even just the way a reflection is opening up; but they continue to hurry past, no doubt for some important TV program, or some mindless computer game. There is no blindness worse than those who are wilfully so!
Every creature, every plant, every scene, and every moment is beautiful. If we see ugly when we look at such things, then the ugly is coming from within us.
There is a wondrous aspect to nature that when you accept it, negates the need to find a god. Just being part of a world that has so much life is life in itself. Death, therefore, becomes only a transition to another part of this world.
There is a defect that resides in very few species that kills for a reason other than food or survival. Some of mankind has exalted this defect through its wars and its hunts. The rest of us must work on a cure for future generations.
